  • 2 tbsps nutritional yeast

  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt & Black pepper

How to do it:

  • Dry-fry the pine nuts for up to five minutes in a pan. They should be golden brown, but not burned. If you leave them alone, they will turn quickly.
  • Use a food processor or mixer to blend the basil, oregano, cashews, almonds, pine nuts, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil until smooth.
  • If more olive oil is needed to get the right consistency, drizzle it on.
  • If the pesto is too dry, add a splash or two of soy or almond milk, but not too much because you want it to stick to the pasta.
